Debenhams Hereford

An ambitious three-floor project for a household name and anchor tenant of Hereford’s newest shopping centre

The 83,000 sq ft Debenhams store is the anchor tenant at a new shopping centre in Hereford and Portview was the first on site first to install all the interiors over three floors.

The Debenhams Hereford model features women’s, men’s and children’s wear, accessories, homeware, a Health and Beauty floor and restaurant which overlooks the 300,000 sq ft Old Market Development.

The vast fit-out incorporated five lifts, two escalators, ceramic tiled and vinyl flooring, as well as a stainless steel balustrade to the front atrium.  The restaurant boasts a new design and specification based on one at the Debenhams Oxford Street store in London.

Portview was also responsible for installing the mechanical and electrical work, sprinkler systems, suspended ceilings and fixtures and fittings while streamlined co-ordination of 20 other shopfitters as they carried out installations for the cosmetic and fashion brands that have a presence in Debenhams was integral to delivering this project on time and on budget.
