Beauty

Beauty

Beautifully designed down to the last detail, the new venue is located in the lower ground floor 109 room and is the final space to be fitted in the menswear department redevelopment.

Bar & Kitchen

Bar & Kitchen

Serving everything from breakfast through to late night cocktails, the Wallpaper Bar + Kitchen has its own dedicated entrance and is open independently of the store’s opening hours.

Full Initial Strip-Out

Full Initial Strip-Out

The project involved a full initial strip-out and reconfiguration of the entire lower ground floor. The new café and bar is at the centre of the retail area and is an important element in the overall design. The concept is an interesting idea that allows customers to enjoy refreshments or a cocktail and to shop within the same area.

Lighting

Lighting

The 30-40 cover café offers movable and banquette seating. Lighting is an important part of the scheme and has been designed to change the atmosphere of the space according to the time of day or evening.

Character & Style

Character & Style

The design is cool, contemporary and semi-industrial, in keeping with the remainder of the retail area. The flooring uses a combination of different colour marbles in a ‘crazy paving’ layout that adds character and style to the scheme.

Accents

Accents

The walls and ceilings feature a textured plaster finish and the overall colour palette is generally light grey and blue, with further colour accents including terracotta, green and black being added by the flooring.

The works also included the installation of a new kitchen and a huge digital screen promoting the new space, visible from the street.
