As CRM Data and Insights Executive, you will be responsible for developing a client-centric approach to business development and marketing strategy. Reporting to the Contracts Director, you will assist in the strategic decision-making process by ensuring that the correct and most accurate data is used to inform and assist in business development and communication campaigns.
You will use various insight tools and marketing techniques to ensure insights are developed, communicated and embedded in the organisation to develop Portview’s understanding of key external stakeholders.
As part of a team with the Business Development Manager and the Communications Manager, you will not only provide client insights from your research but also help to identify and target relevant brand targets to pass on to the Business Development Manager to progress. You will be main support for the sales and marketing function of the business.
Assisting the Business Development Manager and Communications Manager, you will support the business to understand the needs and motivators of our clients, both functional and emotional, ensuring that their voice is at the heart of business decisions, underpinned by data and insight (qualitative, quantitative and behavioural)
You will work cross-functionally to understand the big strategic business questions, translating these into research objectives, and managing marketing insights projects end-to-end
You will leverage research techniques to bring insight to life in a compelling and engaging way (via events, communication campaigns, content marketing and PR), ensuring the client is at the centre of experience design and decision making to support the delivery of commercial objectives.
You will work with our business development manager and contracts teams to manage and update our client database, identify new insight opportunities and leverage findings to build on our client understanding.
You will use customer segmentation to explore stakeholder behaviour and understand why and how they interact with Portview
Liaising closely with the Communications Manager to ensure an appropriate range of materials is at the company’s disposal, and assisting with award entries and updating presentations for tender and pitch purposes
Previous experience working in media, communications or/and marketing
Quantitative and qualitative research experience
Experience of analysing and interpreting data, comparing and contrasting results, spotting trends, drawing conclusions, thinking creatively and making recommendations accordingly.
Work quickly whilst still maintaining excellent levels of accuracy and attention to detail when preparing documents and reports.
Prioritise workloads and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
Communicate complex information effectively both verbally and in writing when dealing with internal and external stakeholders at a range of levels.
Ability to identify potential issues and challenges, developing well considered proposals for action and taking ownership to deliver as appropriate.
Experience of working collaboratively to deliver a high quality of service to clients and stakeholders.
Experience of CRM data management ideally within Salesforce
Experience of and/or formally trained in marketing research and customer insights
Self-motivated and creatively minded, with a willingness and drive to develop yourself in order to deliver excellence.
