We currently have a requirement for a Buyer. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on many prestigious projects with some of the worlds most prestigious brands.

The Job Role

In this role you will be responsible for the procurement of materials and equipment required on site, including carrying out of all the administrative duties that are associated with this. This should be done with a can do attitude. You will work autonomously using your fit out/construction knowledge to problem solve and make decisions on a daily basis

Who are we looking for?

The following qualities/experience are essential​:

  • Relevant experience as a buyer within the Construction/Fit Out industry
  • Experience in management of suppliers, supplier audit or vendor rating
  • Knowledge and experience of making cost savings /cost reductions within spend portfolio
  • Experience of introducing new suppliers
  • Sound technical knowledge, strong commercial and contractual acumen
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Knowledge of using computerised purchase order systems

The following skills/experience are desirable:

  • CIPS qualification
  • Summit 3000 software
